Cascade Mountain Skiing

Cascade Mountain had good conditions Saturday considering it rained hard and long midweek. We awoke Saturday and saw the first measureable snow of the season here. The North Wall, Badger Bowl, Manitou and Cindy Pop were open as well as many other trails. Crowds were lighter than a typical Saturday. Come on out and take some turns. There is a great new 3 consecutive day pass for $88.

Other area resorts re-opened Friday after their initial openings due to weather.

Sources say Cascade, Devils Head, Tyrol Basin, Wilmot, Alpine Valley, Sunburst and many other local ski areas are open. Call or check their web sites before you pack the car with your boards.
