There are numerous places to ski less than 2 hours from Milwaukee. Sunburst, Alpine Valley, Highlands of Olympia, Holy Hill, Ausblick, Fox Hill (private clubs), Wilmot, Cascade, Devils Head, and Christmas Mountain. If you drive just a bit more you can ski at Granite Peak in central Wisconsin or Chestnut Mountain near Dubuque. West of Madison is Tyrol Basin. There are more but here are just a few.
